A native of New York, Dr. Rochman is a trusted professional in the field of gallbladder surgery. A board-certified surgeon since 1989, he has considerable experience in diagnosing and treating the main causes of gallbladder dysfunction, including gallstones in the gallbladder and bile duct, inflammation and Pancreatitis. Dr. Rochman is an active member in several groups on a national and state-level, including the American Medical Association and the Medical Society of the State of New York. Dr. Rochman is also an active member of the American College of Phlebology and the Nassau County Medical Society. He regularly participates in both international and national meetings that cover his practice areas, which allows him to be on top of the advances in his field, and the steps being taken by his colleagues to provide better care for patients.

Dr. Rochman served as an intern at Long Island College Hospital after medical school, then went on to complete his surgical residency at Maimonides Medical Center. His training was further bolstered in his work as a General Surgical Fellow at Maimonides. With his training complete, Dr. Rochman went on to achieve his first goal as a doctor, to work with his father as a general surgeon.
